In Malaysia, Take App's manual payment flow is close to Zarii's: the buyer pays by DuitNow, Touch 'n Go or bank transfer, uploads a receipt, and you check it. Take App has a plan at $0 with no commission, and it saves 50 orders a month. Its Business plan at $50 a month lists unlimited orders. Prices are in US dollars. Zarii has no platform fees. You pick a store name and add your QR, then run the store by chatting with ChatGPT or Claude. Take App is the better pick if you want automated WhatsApp messages, card payments, a custom domain or more staff.

How payment works on Take App
Take App’s Malaysia page describes a WhatsApp store. Buyers order through chat or through your store link, and Take App sends WhatsApp alerts.
There are two ways to get paid.
Automated payments
The Malaysia page lists gateways including Stripe, PayPal, Xendit, HitPay and Payex. The gateway charges its own fees.
Manual payments
The Malaysia page also lists DuitNow, Touch ’n Go, bank transfer and cash on delivery. For a transfer or QR payment, the buyer uploads a receipt and you check it before you accept the order.
What Zarii does differently
Zarii is in open beta. This is what zarii.ai says it does today.
You pick a store name and add your QR. Then you tell ChatGPT or Claude what you sell, and it puts your products up at yourname.zarii.store. There is a guide to connecting your AI. Your ChatGPT or Claude plan needs to allow custom connectors.
Your buyer opens your link and orders without making an account. You can send that link in a WhatsApp chat. They see your own QR, such as your DuitNow QR, exactly as you uploaded it, with the exact amount and an order code. They pay and send you a screenshot. You check your own account, tap Confirm, and only then does your stock go down, once.
Zarii has no platform fees, and the money goes from your buyer to your account. Zarii keeps the order record, not the money.
Take App’s manual flow is close to this. Both end with you checking your own account. The differences are these:
- Take App has a plan at $0 and takes no commission. That plan saves 50 orders a month, and the Business plan at $50 a month lists unlimited orders. Prices are in US dollars. Zarii has no platform fees.
- On Zarii, your own QR, the exact amount and an order code are part of the order the buyer sees, and stock goes down once, when you confirm.
- You run Zarii by chatting with ChatGPT or Claude.
You need a payment QR from your bank or e-wallet to use Zarii. Zarii does not send automated WhatsApp messages.
Your store, orders and buyer list are yours. Zarii says it never sells that data and never uses it for ads.
Where Take App is the better choice
Zarii is a smaller tool. In these cases Take App is the stronger pick.
Automated WhatsApp messages
Take App’s Business plan lists 1,000 automated WhatsApp messages a month, and its Malaysia page mentions WhatsApp alerts. Zarii does not send automated WhatsApp messages.
Card payments
Take App lists card payments on Business, and Stripe among its gateways. Zarii does not take card payments at checkout.
A custom domain
Take App’s Business plan lists a custom domain.
More stores and staff
Business lists 5 stores and 5 staff. Zarii lets you run up to three stores on one account.
Fewer than 50 orders a month
If you take 50 orders a month or fewer, Take App’s Basic plan at $0 saves them all.
Open beta
Zarii is in open beta. Expect it to keep changing.
Which one fits
Zarii fits if you take orders in chat, your buyers can pay a QR you own, and you are happy to check your own account before you confirm.
Take App fits if you want WhatsApp messages sent for you, card payments or a custom domain, and its prices work for you.
If you are not sure, write down your last ten orders. Count how many came in on WhatsApp and how many paid by card. That tells you more than any comparison page.
