Zarii vs EasyStore for small sellers in Malaysia
Updated
EasyStore is a full store builder with a WhatsApp order form, marketplace sync with Shopee and Lazada, and a POS on its Growth and Success plans. It states 0% transaction fees, but gateway, SMS and WhatsApp, and domain costs are extra, and it runs on monthly or yearly plans. We have not quoted its plan prices, so check EasyStore's plans page for Malaysia. Zarii is a lighter tool. It has no platform fees, and your buyer pays your own QR. You pick a store name and add your QR, then run the store from ChatGPT or Claude. EasyStore is the better pick if you want marketplace sync, a POS, gateway checkout or a full suite.
All EasyStore facts below were checked on 25 October 2026. Prices and fees change, so look at the sources before you decide.
What EasyStore costs
EasyStore runs on monthly or yearly plans. We did not confirm the Malaysia prices, so this page does not quote any. We could only read EasyStore’s plans page in one country version, so open it, pick Malaysia from the country selector and check what that version shows.
EasyStore states 0% transaction fees. It says gateway, SMS and WhatsApp, and domain costs are extra. So the difference between the two tools is the plan price and those extras.
When you compare, add up the plan and those extras.
How payment works on EasyStore
EasyStore’s checkout runs through payment gateways. It lists 20 or more, including Stripe, PayPal, Billplz, SenangPay, GrabPay and UOB DuitNow QR. Check which ones apply in Malaysia.
This page does not cover whether EasyStore takes manual bank transfers. Check EasyStore’s site if that is how your buyers pay.
EasyStore also has a WhatsApp order form for sellers who take orders in chat. Its help article describes the form as a shoppable, mobile-friendly product catalog, and lists it on the Standard, Business, Essential, Growth and Success plans.
What Zarii does differently
Zarii is in open beta. This is what zarii.ai says it does today.
You pick a store name and add your QR. Then you tell ChatGPT or Claude what you sell, and it puts your products up at yourname.zarii.store. There is a guide to connecting your AI. Your ChatGPT or Claude plan needs to allow custom connectors.
Your buyer opens your link and orders without making an account. You can send that link in a WhatsApp chat. They see your own QR, such as your DuitNow QR, exactly as you uploaded it, with the exact amount and an order code. They pay and send you a screenshot. You check your own account, tap Confirm, and only then does your stock go down, once.
Zarii has no platform fees, and the money goes from your buyer to your account. Zarii keeps the order record, not the money. There is no gateway between your buyer and you.
EasyStore is a full commerce suite with monthly or yearly plans. Zarii is a lightweight order book for sellers who sell in chat. You run it by chatting with ChatGPT or Claude.
You need a payment QR from your bank or e-wallet to use Zarii. Your store, orders and buyer list are yours. Zarii says it never sells that data and never uses it for ads.
Where EasyStore is the better choice
Zarii is a smaller tool. In these cases EasyStore is the stronger pick.
Marketplace sync
EasyStore syncs with Shopee and Lazada. Zarii does not.
A POS
EasyStore has a POS for selling in a physical shop, on its Growth and Success plans. Zarii does not.
Gateway checkout
With a gateway, your buyer pays at checkout and the provider reports the payment to the store for you. With Zarii, you check your own account and confirm each payment by hand. That is fine for a few orders a day. It takes more of your time as orders pile up.
A full suite
EasyStore is a full store builder. Zarii is an order book. If you want one tool for the whole shop, EasyStore is closer to that.
Open beta
Zarii is in open beta. Expect it to keep changing.
Which one fits
Zarii fits if you take orders in chat, your buyers can pay a QR you own, and you are happy to check your own account before you confirm.
EasyStore fits if you want marketplace sync, a POS or gateway checkout, and its plan and extras work for your margins.
If you are not sure, write down your last ten orders. Count how many came from chat and how many came from Shopee or Lazada. That tells you more than any comparison page.
