Zarii talks to your AI through MCP. It’s a standard way for an AI to use an app you’ve said yes to. You sign in once, and you can disconnect any time.

Sign in from the app you already use, or drop in a key from your admin. Either way, your AI reaches only what your sign-in or your key allows.

ChatGPT or Claude

    In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, and add Zarii. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector.

    Sign in with your Zarii account. Then say “Describe my shop.”

Your ChatGPT or Claude plan needs to allow custom connectors. Menu names may move; the connect guide keeps a dated note when they do.

Claude Code or Codex

  1. Create a key in your seller admin

    Sign in at your shop’s own address and go to Settings → API keys → Create key. Leave the two boxes ticked: read your catalogue and orders, and add and edit products, SKUs, prices, stock and photos. Copy the key: it starts with zari_sk_ and is shown exactly once.

  2. Run this in a terminal, with your key in place of the placeholder

    Add --scope user to make it available in every project. Then open Claude Code and ask: “Describe my shop.”

Using Codex instead?

Add this to Codex’s config file, typically ~/.codex/config.toml, and set ZARI_API_KEY in your environment before starting Codex, which keeps the key out of the file itself.

Field names are from OpenAI’s own Codex documentation. If a later release renames one, their page is the authority.

Do I need a key?

Not for ChatGPT or Claude. You sign in. For Claude Code or Codex, yes: create one in your admin under Settings, API keys. It’s shown once.

Can it see my orders?

Yes. It can read your orders, including your buyers’ names, phone numbers and addresses, so it can answer questions about them. Connecting shares that with your AI’s provider. It can’t confirm payments or see screenshots.

Will it put things live without asking?

Everything starts as a draft. Putting a product live is its own step, and it needs a photo and a description first. A shipped product also needs a shipping size. A digital one needs none of that.

Will it make up a photo?

Never. It only uses your photos, stored as you sent them.

Can it mark a digital order as sent?

It can always set a product to digital, unlimited or a fixed number. Marking an order’s file as sent needs a key with the orders:fulfil scope, which signing in doesn’t grant. Create a key with that scope ticked in your admin if you want your AI to do that step too.

What about a command-line tool, or a browser version?

Not yet. When they’re ready, they’ll be on this page.
